Hi, primarily I would like to say that I truly loved reading the blog. I was just wondering to ascertain if you were curious about creating some guest content on a web site of mine? - called Scrapbooking Page Ideas. Take a quick look but I think you will discover that with your superb writing and perspective you may be able to spread your knowledge and obtain some more publicity for your own site. Contact details are on the web site. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I agree with Donna, but will take it a step further. These Icons are hideous looking. Regardless of their intent, as a designer, I wouldn't want them on my site or associated with anything I sell. If you are really serious about this initiative, you have GOT to come up with something more attractive!

thank you for this site. i am not a but i feel that right now there are so many different form of tous that it is confusing to say the least.

i am glad that there is finally someone who is thinking ahead and trying to make it easy for us as users of the kits to finally understand exactly what they were meant for. as for the icons used i think that they are simple enough that no matter what language you speak, all you have to do is to look at them and you should understand.

the only problem is the language on them, if you speak english and read english this is fine. but what happens if you dont? i would keep the symbols the same but allow for the changing of the language to other then english if the kit maker wants to. in otherwords make the symbols universal and not necessarly the language.
in time they will become like any other symbol, recognized no matter what the language.

Hi

Firstly, thanks for the guidelines.
I would like to create kits S4H (Scrap 4 Hire) but am uncertain which of your logos best represents this term.

Could you please point me in the right direction for which logo best represents this term?

thanks

I like the concept, it's a really great idea. But I have a suggestion that might seem a little harsh, but please take no offense.
I don't really like the icons. Can we use our own? or can you just generalize them more? like just colored circles with the initials?

Hey Chris,
Very good to hear from you. And I certainly don't blame you for your concerns of the validity or continuation of the STOUI project. Our team members have recently been working hard on their own individual business projects and we've let the STOUI blog sit without update for a while. :( Only so many hours in a day.

Nevertheless, let me assure you that STOUI is very much alive and continuing to move forward. As a matter of fact we have some new products coming out the first part of the new year to help STOUI participants advertise their products and their websites. And of course all will continue to be free.

Keep your eyes open for more info in January and help spread the word. We are starting to see more and more folks supporting the initiative and adding the icons to their products. :) Yeah! Hopefully soon, more people will be jumping on board and our products will be easier than ever to market to our customers!

This is a great idea! I just came across the link to this site today. I did not know how to contact you expect thru this reply. I don't see much happening here lately. Is this idea taking off? I have never seen the icons on any site. I have downloaded all the training sheets, icons, etc. Are you still going to be around, or this not working out? I am not trying to come down on you by any means, I just do not want to change everything over if you should decide to give up on the idea.
I appreciate all the hard work you must have put into this and hope it is a success.
