The 30-Day Digi-Scrap Business Challenge

I have a challenge for you that will benefit every digi-scrap professional in our circle.  If you read my Business Coaches Wanted posting then you know why I’m hosting this challenge.  To help foster a mentoring spirit amongst digi-scrap professionals.  Our challenge runs through the month of September and is going to be a frenzy of Digi-Scrap Business Tips here at DSD-Pro.  For the 30-Day Digi-Scrap Business Challenge I’m asking that each digi-scrap professional join in sharing tips with one another - one for each day of September.

Tips and Mini-Taskers Along the Way

I’ll be posting new tips everyday along with a mini-taskers.  These won’t be long articles or huge taskings.  They will be short and to the point and something you can accomplish in just a few minutes to help improve your digi-scrap business.  Naturally, I don’t know everything there is to know about every digi-scrap career out there.  I know that you all have a lot more business knowledge than you’ve shared in the past and it’s time we learn from each other through networking online, don’t you think?!  The only way to get at this communal knowledge is to make a commitment to share what we each know.

Participation is Easy:

You can do any or all of these three things :

1. Leave comments on the business tips and mini-taskers that I post here.  Share your experiences and thoughts so DSD-Pro will continue to become a place of conversation and group learning and be a great source of information for us all.  We all have something to share that someone else can learn from. I hope that you continue to teach us via your comments.

2. Post your digi-scrap business tips on your own websites and let us know about them. If you’ve learnt something about working in the digi-scrap industry the rest of us want to hear about it. Post it on your website and then email me paintchip[at]dsd-professionals[dot]com with the title and URL or better yet - post about it here and leave a link to your entry. I will be posting a summary of all the tips and related experiences on a summary page, so we’ll be able to access all the info shares easily.

3. Suggest a Topic for me or someone else to write a business tip on. To do this simply leave a comment below. I won’t guarantee it’ll be answered by me - but if you see a question and would like to tackle it on your own blog (see #2 above) feel free to do so.

REMEMBER:  We’re looking specifically for tips that will assist fellow digital-scrapbooking professionals grow their customer base, solve business problems, enhance their marketing, or somehow improve other aspects of their digi-scrap work.  This could be related to designing, tools of the trade, reviews of websites, books, or software for professionals, online community tips, blogging and website development ideas or anything else that could be of assistance to your peer professionals!

To Sum It Up:

1.  Share a digi-scrap tip with us each day in September and/or meet the mini-taskers I present.

2.  Then tell us about it in the comments sections here or in an article posted at your own website.

>> For every day in September that you meet the challenge and post about it here,  your name will be entered into a drawing to win a one-year subscription for the business, design, or scrapbooking magazine of your choice.  Participate all 30 days and you’ve got 30 chances to win!

>> I’ll personally submit your website articles to social bookmarking and social networking sites too.  That means more web traffic coming your way.  Now you just can’t beat that!

>> Other benefits include, warm fuzzies from meeting new friends and gained knowledge from networking with your peers.  By completing the mini-taskers you’ll be taking steps to build your business stronger.  I’m looking forward to the learning that we do as a community in September!  I’ll start posting out the 30-Day Digi-Scrap Business Challenge, Mini-Taskers the 1st day of September.  :)

Will you join us?
