This is a review on a book written by Joe Vitale:  The Attractor Factor – 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or anything else) from the Inside Out is the book I’m sharing with you today.  It’s a terrific addition to any business library as he offers words of wisdom worth revisiting time and again to remind us that achieving our goals doesn’t have to be hard.

Mr. Vitale originally wrote this book for his sister and her family in hopes that it would encourage her to live a more prosperous life.  His writing did in fact help her go from being a welfare recipient to getting a job, owning her own car and house and working her way towards true financial freedom.

He opens this book by telling the reader about a goal he set for himself, “I wanted passive income.   I wanted money to come to me easily and effortlessly, always, consistently – no matter where I was or what I was doing.”  Then he gives us a very short synopsis of how, what he calls, the “Attractor Factor” actually moved him to accomplish just that.  Following this short accounting of events he shares an entire chapter of testimonials.  It includes mini-stories of great success and found happiness from people who have learned how to recognize opportunities and attract toward themselves, the things they want most in their life.

Joes writing style is easy to follow and shows his serious optimism in every chapter.  He shares with the readers some of the ways people simply think their way out of getting what they want in life.  How we too often choose the wrong path without giving it much thought.  He shows us how the Attractor Factor is constantly working towards whatever we are focused on.  What most of us need to do is learn how to change our focus.

Joe then walks us through five steps he recommends taking to go from point A to point B.  As the title of his book proclaims – these really are easy steps.  In a nut shell they are:

1.  Recognizing where you are and where you want to be.  Then step out of the level where you are and start participating with new people on a new playing field.
2.  Recognize the excuses and barriers you put in your own way.  Recognize what it is you REALLY want to be, do, or have.  Push that envelop further and create even bigger dreams and goals.  Then just sit back and relax.  “Prepare to attract your miracles!”
3.  Dismiss limiting beliefs.  Clear your negative thoughts.  Use scripts if needed to help change your wandering thought patterns toward what you really want to focus on.
4.  Use the power of your imagination to burn your desires into all your senses and really feel the joy of living what you want.
5.  Make up your mind then let go.  Let go and take “inspired actions” – based on what your gut is telling you.  Simply follow those inside nudges.

This last step is actually one of the most difficult concepts to grasp.  Because it’s almost too easy and people make it much more difficult than it is.  Honestly it just means to:

The hardest part of creating life the way we want to, according to this author is, “Learning to stop figuring out how you will get what you want.”  The main ingredient in this recipe that we find so difficult to follow is to turn our goals over to our subconscious, and let it bring the goal to us. The secret of using the attractor factor is to “just follow your inner promptings, and act on the opportunities that come your way and you’ll get there.”In this book Joe Vitale helps lead us to success in learning how to harness the Attractor Factor that’s already working in all that we do. I encourage you to pick up The Attractor Factor and give it a read.  It could help you reach your goals quicker and with less resistance from yourself.
