Make the Most of Today

I’ve been off the blogging routine for a while spending time with family, and also working behind the scenes with our new DSD-Pro consultants. As you can see I’m not so great at juggling blogging, my scrapping business, and all the other things in my life without something going undone (ie long pauses between blog posts sometimes). I think I left my wonder woman cape at the dry cleaners again. ROFLOL I openly admit that I can’t do all things all the time. Managing my energies, my time, and my activities is an area where I have to apply conscious efforts or I lose perspective. I wish this was an area that came as natural to me as my collage art does.

The Time Movie

The Time Movie Is this a challenge area for you or anyone you know? There’s an excellent online movie clip called The Time Movie at http://thetimemovie.com/ that I think is worth breathing in and then sharing out to others!  I encourage you to give it a viewing and then share it with your digi-scrap friends!

This movie is presented by Scott Stratten - a fellow business owner who’s made a career at teaching others to keep time management in perspective with the rest of their business activities. I’ve been a fan of his for quit some time now. Scott is an entrepreneur on the motivational speaker circut. He focuses his attention on how we look at our lives in negative and positive ways, how we spend our energies and our days, and how we prioritize the “things” in our lives. Whether he’s serving as a personal coach or sharing his guidance on stage to a crowd of business managers - he’s got a lot to say about how we manage our thoughts and our time in relationship to our work.

Thank Goodness It’s Monday

This spring, Scott is launching a new book called Thank Goodness it’s Monday, A Guide to Enjoying Work, Home and the Drive in Between. If his book is as good as his on stage presentations, then it will be a winner by my terms and a resource for me to return to time and again. I’m looking forward to seeing it hit the shelves. You can grab more information about Scott’s book at his website by the same title: http://www.thankgoodnessitsmonday.com/ where you can also hear his podcast interview with Mr. Positive, another one of the “good guys” who’s words I enjoy daily.
