If you’ve been stopping in at DSD-Pro from time to time, I’m sure you’ve already learned that we are a business group initiated by a small team of digi-scrappers and web-preneurs who gathered together online and set out to create a networking environment to encourage information sharing amongst digi-scrappers working in the digital scrapbook industry.

We started our blog just 4 months ago, during the last week of June. Since that time we have primarily focused our efforts toward assisting self-represented artists, online business owners, and serious hobbyists who are actively participating in or who are just beginning to merge into any digi-scrap career field. Always keeping in the forefront of our activities our main goal of providing assistance and support to Digi-Scrap entrepreneurs to help these professionals be successful in their digi-scrap businesses.

Kicking Into Full Gear

Through this blog we began providing some of our services and we’ve been moving along at a slow but steady pace - stopping along the way to bring the STOUI project into the enterprise ahead of schedule. Now it’s time to turn our efforts toward the other services we’ve had on our to-do list and kick things up a notch. Through this blog we will continue to bring you business articles and news. However the hub of our activities is now switching to our new community forums. From there we will start delivering: powerful advertising opportunities, online training courses, e-publications, turn-key stores, collaborative distribution outlets, business guidance, peer coaching and of course a more interactive networking environment.

Because we are so passionate about our mission we tend to want things to be “just right” before moving ahead. But we’ve learned that to do so, means it may not ever get launched. We openly admit that just too many things keep getting in the way and pushing our schedule further and further behind - and we’re tired of saying, “well maybe next week” over and over again. We’ve decided we’re just going to throw caution to the wind and open our doors before everything is actually in place. So, please bare with us as we continue to load software packages and work out the kinks.

The DSD-Pro Business Association is finally going to launch our networking forums tomorrow! Just in time for celebrating National Digital Scrapbooking Day we’re going to start registration into the Level-One membership package. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10:am Mountain Time.
